What makes ikat different from printed fabric?
The pattern is resist-dyed into groups of warp threads before weaving. When those threads are aligned on the loom, their tiny shifts create ikat’s softened edge.
Will my piece look exactly like the photograph?
The listed piece is photographed individually whenever possible. Handwoven cloth can still show subtle shifts in color, motif and weave; these are part of its character rather than defects.
What does “one of a kind” mean?
It means the listed combination of pattern, color and available cut will not be restocked as an identical item. A related motif may appear again, but never in precisely the same alignment.
How should I care for ikat?
Keep it away from prolonged direct sun. Follow the care note on the product; many pieces prefer cool hand washing or specialist dry cleaning. Avoid bleach and aggressive machine cycles.

How much is US shipping?
Standard US shipping is $12 for orders below $150 and free for orders of $150 or more.
Can cut fabric be returned?
Fabric cut to your requested length is generally final sale. Inspect measurements and intended use carefully before ordering, and email us if you need help.
